God’s Plan – Special Guest Blogger

This is the first blog posted by…YOU. We want you all to write about what God is doing in your live and share that with us if you feel led!

Our special guest blogger today is Ashley, a 14-year-old aspiring writer from Brandon, Mississippi. She submitted a great piece on following God’s plan for your life and we are excited to share it with you here. Thank you, Ashley!

God does amazing things for everyone on this earth that He has given us to live on. We should all try to be better than we were yesterday. Each day you should crave to be better. God doesn’t ask us for much. He wants our hearts and souls and we give Him these through our love and trust; not through ritual, sacrifice or anything crazy like that. Not bad for an almighty Creator. You should spread God’s name and tell others about him. You should be devoted to God. He is our Holy Father, who gave us life and gives us love. Yes, sometimes you feel He didn’t answer your prayers like you wanted them but really He already has a plan for you and everyone else on this earth. One of my favorite scriptures is: “For I know the plans I have for you plans to prosper you and not harm you plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
He might take a loved one, but He does it for a reason. He might let you fall, but fall He is going to pick you right back up and wipe the dirt off. Every scratch/bruise you get is only going to make you stronger and strengthen your faith. When you feel lonely just know that you are NEVER alone because God is always with you even if you can’t see him just have faith because He is. God will never leave your side. He promises that. When times get rough, you must have hope and pray and things should get better. It might not get better as fast as you want it, but its because God is doing it for a reason. I have to stop and ask myself all the time What Would Jesus Do {WWJD}? Well…what Jesus did was trust His father. He prayed. He chose to believe in God’s plan even when He was going through the worst pain imaginable. Each and everyday, we need to choose to strive to be more like Jesus in our relationship with our heavenly Father.
Like the song says… “GOD’S NOT DEAD he is Surely ALIVE!” We serve a living God who is all around us no matter where we are, what time is, no matter the weather- in the beautiful days and even when its pouring down rain. God has us in his hands. He is always there- He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.  When you’re feeling down and hopeless just talk to God. God has amazing plans for every single one of us.  Never doubt God and ever doubt yourself- His creation. Never look down on yourself & don’t let others look down on you either. God made you just how he wanted you to be. Don’t try to change who you are just for someone else or just because another person doesn’t like something about you, because you’re perfect to God. If you’re unsure if you’re truly committed to Jesus Christ then talk to a pastor or youth minister. Also know that you don’t have to be in a church building with a ton of people to experience God; you could be in a car with people talking about God and the Bible or e. You can make anywhere you are a “church” and draw near to God. Pray in front of others and read the Bible without shame and you will see God alive and in control of your life!

I am just now seeing this. When I wrote this I was 14 and now I am 15 and I still look back at this when I feel down and just take my own advice. Thank you all for being so inspirational and sweet.
